Founder and artist behind Ace Studio, Iris brings a fashion-informed eye to every appointment.

Iris Acevedo is a Cuban-American Latina raised in Miami. Her background and upbringing shaped her relationship with personal style, beauty, glamour, and self-expression.

Before opening Ace Studio, Iris spent approximately 15 years in fashion across product development, production, buying, wholesale, styling, and creative direction.

That experience still informs the way she approaches beauty and lash design. Iris considers the entire face rather than treating lashes as an isolated feature, paying attention to proportion, texture, direction, visual balance, contrast, and personal style.

Her signature work includes customized textured lash sets and top-and-bottom lash designs. Each set is developed around the individual rather than a predetermined lash map.

Iris’s approach continues to evolve through her interest in design theory and perceptual psychology: how placement, direction, density, negative space, and texture can influence the way we perceive the eyes and surrounding features.

Iris designed Ace Studio as a private Nutley space that reflects her broader creative point of view. Vintage furniture, art, pattern, collected objects, and an eclectic mix of fashion and design references make the studio feel considered without feeling staged.
